About Vienne Photo Cinema Forum

The European Photo Cinema Forum of Vienne is a benchmark fair dedicated to used and collectible photographic and cinematographic equipment. Organized by the association Vienne la Photographie for over 40 years, this event is held annually in April at the Salle des Fêtes in Vienne. Professionals and individuals offer cameras, lenses, books, manuals, and image-related items. Photo exhibitions and a photographic marathon contest complete the program. Entry €3.

An unmissable event for image enthusiasts

For over forty years, the European Photo Cinema Forum of Vienne has brought together collectors, amateur and professional photographers, and image lovers in one place: the majestic Salle des Fêtes on Place de Miremont in Vienne. This event is recognized as one of the most important of its kind in France, attracting exhibitors and visitors from all over Europe.

A fair dedicated to the world of photography

The forum offers a comprehensive overview of the photo and cinema world. Visitors can find new and used equipment, collectible cameras, rare lenses, technical books and manuals, film, and a whole range of image-related accessories. Industry professionals mingle with passionate individuals, creating an atmosphere of exchange and sharing around this common passion.

Exhibitions and photographic marathon

Beyond equipment sales, the forum features exhibitions by invited regional photographers, spread between the Salle des Fêtes and the Espace Photo located at 61 rue de Bourgogne. A photographic marathon is organized on the same day: participants register at opening and must submit their shots by 4 p.m. The jury of the French Photographic Federation also awards its prizes during this day.

Vienne, city of art and history

The forum takes place in the prestigious setting of Vienne, a city of art and history with exceptional heritage riches. The Temple of Augustus and Livia, the ancient theatre, and the Saint-Maurice cathedral bear witness to a glorious past. This Rhone city offers an ideal cultural backdrop for an event dedicated to the art of the image.

An event for all enthusiasts

Whether you are a collector of vintage cameras, an amateur photographer looking for used lenses, or simply curious about the world of photography, the European Photo Cinema Forum of Vienne offers a unique experience. The €3 entry fee gives access to all stands and exhibitions, making this day a cultural outing accessible to all budgets.
