The annual car boot sale of Logonna-Daoulas, on the edge of the Brest roadstead
Logonna-Daoulas (29460) is a coastal village in Finistère, located on the peninsula of the same name, on the edge of the Brest roadstead. Its village center, its port, and its coves attract many visitors every summer. But it is at the beginning of spring, in March, that the town offers its annual car boot sale — a friendly event appreciated by locals and flea market enthusiasts in the area.
The event is held at Salle Kejaden and its surroundings, the village's living space. Individuals and professionals offer a varied selection of second-hand items: clothing, furniture, crockery, trinkets, books, toys, and decorative objects. The atmosphere is that of Breton rural car boot sales, warm and family-friendly.
Logonna-Daoulas is known for its exceptional panorama of the Brest roadstead and its preserved coves. The village benefits from a privileged location equidistant between Brest and Daoulas, in a protected natural environment. The March car boot sale traditionally marks the beginning of the local event season, before the influx of summer visitors.
