Annual car boot sale around the collegiate church of Léré, on the banks of the Loire in the Cher
The Vide-Grenier de Léré takes place every year in June in an exceptional setting, around the collegiate church of the village. This 12th-century Romanesque church, a listed historic monument, gives the event a special charm. The stalls are set up in the adjacent streets and squares, offering visitors a pleasant and picturesque treasure hunt experience.
Léré is a commune located in the northeast of the Cher department, near the Loire river and not far from Sancerre and Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire. This rural village in the Sancerrois region has a rich architectural heritage with its Saint-Martin collegiate church and its old houses. The region is renowned for its vineyards and its Loirean landscapes, making it a popular destination for heritage and terroir enthusiasts.
Organized by the Comité des fêtes de Léré, this car boot sale hosts about forty exhibitors offering everyday items, trinkets, books, crockery, toys, clothes, and second-hand furniture. The village atmosphere and relaxed vibe make this event a popular gathering for the inhabitants of Léré and surrounding communes. Entry is free.
From Bourges, take the D955 then the D751 towards Léré (approx. 50 minutes). From Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire, follow the D955 (approx. 20 minutes).
Free parking in the adjacent streets.
From 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
