Every year in June, the commune of Lavernose-Lacasse hosts a car boot sale that brings together many private exhibitors. From 8 am to 6 pm, the stalls offer a wide range of second-hand items: clothing, toys, crockery, trinkets, books, small furniture, and decorative items. The event attracts bargain hunters from all over the Muretain and Volvestre regions.

Lavernose-Lacasse is a commune of 3,665 inhabitants (Lavernosiens) located 30 km south of Toulouse and 10 km southwest of Muret, on the banks of the Louge. The commune is part of the Le Muretain Agglo urban area and benefits from a privileged geographical location, just 2 km from exit 31 of the A64 motorway. This strategic position has made it a rapidly expanding residential commune.
