The big autumn hunt on the promenade
On Sunday 1 November 2026, from 6am to 7pm, Promenade Aymeric Simon-Lorière hosts the traditional All Saints' Day flea market in Sainte-Maxime. A marathon day of seafront hunting, closing the outdoor flea-market season of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez before winter.
Every year, All Saints' Day sees Sainte-Maxime's longest flea market, spreading along Promenade Aymeric Simon-Lorière from 6am to 7pm. Thirteen non-stop hours for a real Sunday marathon, attracting locals, All Saints' holidaymakers and hunters from inland Var and the Alpes-Maritimes.
Organised as part of late-season events, it offers a very popular alternative to traditional All Saints' outings, helped by usually mild weather.
On 1 November, Promenade Simon-Lorière glows with golden light and dense but not saturated footfall. Locals reclaim their town after the summer peak. More authentic than mid-summer; restaurants and cafés stay open.
