Grézels (46700) is a village in Quercy Blanc, in the Lot valley, between Puy-l'Évêque and Cahors. Dominated by its medieval castle visible from the valley, the village enjoys a remarkable setting and an ideal geographical location for wine lovers, as it is located in the heart of the AOC Cahors. Every summer, the Grézels Festival Committee enlivens local life by organizing its car boot sale, a convivial event awaited by residents and passing tourists.

Various Stalls in the Village Square

The Grézels car boot sale brings together private sellers who come to offer their various items in the village square, named Place de la Liberté. You can find clothes and shoes for children and adults, antique tableware, books, games, tools, small decorative items, and various curiosities. The event is open to all and entry is free for visitors. Sellers pay a very accessible fee of €2 per linear meter, which ensures good participation.

A Village in the Heart of the Cahors Vineyards

Grézels is surrounded by vineyards that produce the famous Cahors wine, made from the Malbec grape variety. Grézels Castle, owned by the Bishopric of Cahors until the Revolution, stands above the village and is its main monument. For visitors coming to browse, it's an opportunity to enjoy a full day in the region: market in the morning, car boot sale during the day, and wine tasting in a cellar in the evening.
