The 14th edition of the Vide-Grenier de Chalais was held on Whit Monday, June 9, 2025, on the allée de Saulgau, at the foot of the gymnasium. About fifty exhibitors offered their finds to visitors who came to enjoy this public holiday to hunt for treasures in complete tranquility in this town in Sud Charente. The friendly atmosphere and the refreshment stand accompanied this day of strolling among the stalls, under the benevolent gaze of the Château des Talleyrand-Périgord which overlooks the town.

On Monday, June 9, 2025, Whit Monday, the allée de Saulgau in Chalais hosted the 14th edition of the town's annual car boot sale. About fifty exhibitors, mainly private individuals from the area, set up their stalls along the tree-lined avenue of the gymnasium, offering a varied assortment of flea market items, clothing, toys, tableware, and trinkets.
Visitors, numerous on this long weekend, browsed the aisles in search of bargains in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. The refreshment stand, located nearby, allowed them to cool down between finds. Chalais, dominated by its imposing historic castle, offered a charming setting for this day of outdoor treasure hunting in the Sud Charente countryside.
