March car boot sale in Briec with around 45 exhibitors, inland Finistère
Every year in March, Briec opens the flea market season in inland Finistère with its spring car boot sale. This local event, with around forty exhibitors, offers residents of the Glazik region and neighboring towns a first bargain hunting opportunity well before the big summer fairs.
Briec-de-l'Odet is a town of some 5,000 inhabitants located about ten kilometers north of Quimper, in Finistère. It is the center of the Pays Glazik, a region of Breton identity and grand costume festivals. The multi-purpose hall and public spaces of the town regularly host cultural and associative events, including this winter car boot sale.
The March car boot sale is the ideal opportunity to sort through your belongings after winter and offer for sale clothes, toys, books, crockery, and various objects. With around forty exhibitors, the event remains human-sized, giving it a particularly friendly and accessible atmosphere for everyone. It is also one of the first opportunities of the season for bargain hunters in the Quimper and Glazik region to find great deals.
The March car boot sale is part of a particularly active associative life in Briec, which organizes various events throughout the year. It notably precedes the Easter flea market and the Paotred Briec car boot sale in June, making Briec one of the most lively towns in inland Finistère in terms of bargain hunting and car boot sales.
