In 2025, the Vide Grenier de Balazuc was held in spring, organized by the Sou des écoles d'Uzer et Balazuc. About forty exhibitors took over the alleys and spaces of the village, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, offering clothing, furniture, tableware, and everyday items to visitors who came to hunt for treasures in this exceptional setting overlooking the Gorges de l'Ardèche.
In the spring of 2025, the Vide Grenier de Balazuc once again enlivened this medieval village perched on the limestone cliffs overlooking the Ardèche river. Organized by the Sou des écoles d'Uzer et Balazuc, the event brought together about forty exhibitors in the alleys and squares of this Ardèche gem, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
Individuals from the village and surrounding towns laid out their belongings on stalls to offer a fine selection of second-hand items: clothing and accessories of all sizes, furniture and decorative objects, tableware and kitchen utensils, books and comics, toys and board games, tools and garden equipment, trinkets and souvenirs. The diversity of offerings, typical of private car boot sales, facilitated discoveries and good deals for the visitors present.
Free entry for visitors, combined with the exceptional tourist appeal of Balazuc in spring, allowed the Sou des écoles to gather a good crowd for this 2025 edition. The proceeds from stall rentals were donated to support the school and extracurricular activities of the children of Uzer and Balazuc.
