Apt's end-of-season flea market

The October flea market at Apt's lake park is usually the last major gathering of the Apt hunters' season. After the spring editions (March, April, 1 May, 3 May) and June's recycling centre event, organisers wrap up the year with this autumn date enjoying mild late-season temperatures.

Autumn in the Luberon

In early October, the Luberon turns warm colours: flamboyant Roussillon ochres, red and gold vineyards, silvery olive trees. Riaille Park takes on a special atmosphere, more intimate than in summer, with yellowing plane trees and first morning mists. An ideal setting for quiet, contemplative browsing.

What you will find

October brings end-of-year clear-outs: extra school supplies, summer clothes going into storage, garden gear, summer sports items, holiday reading. Some sellers bring early winter items: warm clothing, sleds, used skis. Plus classic bric-a-brac: toys, crockery, decor, small furniture.

Apt in the late season

Visiting Apt in October offers the town without summer crowds. The Saturday market regains authenticity, traditional PGI candied fruit makers present first-of-season production (quinces, figs), and café terraces on Place Gabriel-Péri invite strolling. A perfect way to close the Luberon brocante season.
