The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier d'Alleins was held in the spring in the streets of the old town, at the foot of the castle of the Counts of Provence. Organized by the ACATIA association, this event brought together individuals and families in this village of the Massif des Costes, between Alpilles and Luberon. Treasure hunters found clothing, tableware, toys, books, and trinkets at low prices, while enjoying the remarkable heritage setting of Alleins and its Saint-Pons church with its hexagonal bell tower.
The Vide-Grenier d'Alleins hosted its 2025 edition in the spring, in the streets and squares of the old town of this Provençal village of 2,700 inhabitants. Organized by the ACATIA association, the event transformed the heart of the village into a vast second-hand market, at the foot of the castle of the Counts of Provence.
The stalls, set up along the alleys and at the foot of the Saint-Pons church with its hexagonal bell tower, offered visitors a wide variety of items: clothing for the whole family, Provençal tableware and ceramics, toys, books, garden tools, furniture, and decorative trinkets. Entry was free, and the atmosphere was family-friendly and convivial, true to the tradition of rural car boot sales in the Bouches-du-Rhône.
Alleins, a village whose occupation dates back over 4,000 years, nestled between the Alpilles and the Luberon in the Massif des Costes, offered an exceptional heritage setting for treasure hunting enthusiasts. The car boot sale will be held again in 2026 with a new edition scheduled for June 1st.
