Caro, formerly La Chapelle-Caro, is a small rural commune of about 1,300 inhabitants, located in the Morbihan countryside between Malestroit and Ploërmel. Its car boot sale is held in the Salle des Sports and brings together about thirty exhibitors.
A Village Between Oust and Ninian
The territory of Caro extends between the Oust and Ninian valleys, in a preserved hedgerow landscape. The granite farms, calvaries, and sunken lanes bear witness to intact Breton rural heritage. The car boot sale is one of the few flea market events in this very rural area.
An Authentic Village Car Boot Sale
With its thirty or so exhibitors, the Caro car boot sale offers an intimate and authentic flea market experience, far from the hustle and bustle of large flea markets. It is often in these small villages that the best finds are made.
