Recap of Carmes en Fête 2025
On May 1st, 2025, the Rue des Carmes in Orléans experienced its wonderful festival day with the latest edition of Carmes en Fête, organized by the association Stations Carmes. The street, pedestrianized for the occasion from Place de Gaulle to Place de la Croix-Morin, transformed into a festive and convivial space hosting the car boot sale, the guinguette, and creative workshops.
Around 90 car boot sale vendors set up their stalls in the street, offering a wide variety of items at accessible prices. Music groups entertained at the guinguette located at the end of the street, while drawing workshops and other creative activities welcomed curious children and adults. The shops in the Carmes neighborhood joined in, offering tastings, special promotions, and expanded terraces for the event. This 2025 edition of Carmes en Fête fully confirmed its status as a must-attend neighborhood festival for May 1st in Orléans.
