The Savigny APE car boot sale: solidarity and conviviality

Every autumn, the Savigny APE — School Parents' Association — organises its car boot sale to benefit school and extracurricular activities. Village families come together to offer items for sale: children's clothing, toys and board games, school and children's books, school supplies, small pieces of furniture and ornaments. Proceeds go to the school to fund educational outings, classroom equipment and cultural and sports activities.

The village, like most in this area, is built of golden stone — a warm-toned limestone that gives the region its name and incomparable architectural charm.
