A family rendezvous at the foot of the Montagne Noire

Each autumn, the Fontalba community hall, nestled within the Alain Guiraud sports complex, opens its doors for a unique sale. Unlike a classic flea market, this event focuses on three family-favourite categories: second-hand clothes, toys and childcare equipment. Perfect for refreshing a child's wardrobe, adding to a Playmobil collection or finding a pushchair, high chair or baby carrier at bargain prices.

Run by the Amicale Bouliste

Historical organiser, the Amicale Bouliste Saint-Albigeoise puts all its energy into the success of the day. Volunteers welcome exhibitors from 6.30am, set up the tables, arrange the hall and run the refreshment bar. The atmosphere is that of a big village celebration, where locals meet to browse, chat over a complimentary coffee and have lunch on site.

What to expect

The fully-covered aisles gather between 100 and 200 private sellers offering children's clothing from 3 months to 14 years, adult clothing, toys, jigsaws, Lego, children's books, childcare gear such as travel cots, car seats and play mats. Quality second-hand items at unbeatable prices.

Tips for bargain hunters

Arrive at the 8am opening to grab the best pieces. Bring sturdy bags, cash and a list of sizes. Indoor venue, perfect for a Sunday outing regardless of weather. Refreshments available on site.
