The bargain hunters' meeting in a small Tarn village
Each spring, the Varennes Festival Committee organizes its flea market in the village center. A small commune nestled between Reyniès, Villebrumier and Orgueil, Varennes welcomes individuals and bargain hunters for a day under the sign of village conviviality. A great opportunity to support local associative life while finding good deals at the heart of the Tarn valley.
A discreet commune of Tarn-et-Garonne located on the hillsides overlooking the Tarn valley, Varennes is the archetype of the Occitan village where associative life is vibrant. The flea market organized by the Festival Committee is one of the unmissable events of the municipal calendar.
For the occasion, the village center and its surroundings are closed to traffic and welcome exhibitors. Across a few dozen stands held mainly by individuals from the village and surroundings, visitors find clothing, toys, board games, books, comics, vinyl records, dishes, small furniture and tools.
What gives the Varennes flea market its charm is precisely its preserved and authentic character. The Festival Committee provides a refreshment stand and a food area where you can enjoy sandwiches, fries and cold drinks.
