In August 2025, the church square of Valette hosted the village's summer car boot sale. From 8 am to 6 pm, about fifty private sellers set up their stalls on the free pitches provided, offering a wide variety of second-hand items to bargain hunters from the Riom-ès-Montagnes area.
The day was enhanced by friendly activities: a sale of artisanal chocolates delighted gourmets, the refreshment stand with barbecue allowed visitors to eat on site, and the traditional country music demonstration at 4 pm livened up the late afternoon in a festive atmosphere.
