Val d'Asson PTA Flea Market - Treize-Septiers

Supporting the public school

Treize-Septiers is a Vendée bocage village of about 2,500 in the northeast of the department, near Montaigu and the Loire-Atlantique border. Its public school Val d'Asson is supported yearly by an active PTA that runs several fundraising events. The autumn flea market is highly awaited. 2026: Sunday 4 October.

Like all PTA flea markets, it bets on community spirit. Two aims: let families clear their homes, and fund school trips, materials, outdoor classes.

Treize-Septiers, bocage village

Name comes from an old agricultural unit. Typical Vendée bocage: hedges, small fields, scattered farms. Between Montaigu (10 km), Clisson (20 km), Cholet (25 km). Interesting stop for Loire-Atlantique and Maine-et-Loire visitors.

Active community life

Dense for a commune this size: PTA, festival committee, sports clubs, cultural groups. Attracts young families.

Autumn event

Early October: school back on, summer sort-out done, mild weather for outdoors. Also preps for winter: coats, jumpers, kids' ski or hockey gear.

PTA announces details closer to date. Moderate fee (2-3 €/ml). Mostly private sellers. Book early.
