The Mellac Intermarché Swap Meet, the big spring event

Every March, the vast Kervidanou Intermarché parking lot in Mellac (29300) is covered with stalls for one of the largest swap meets in the Quimperlé district. With around 150 exhibitors, this popular event is one of the most frequented in southern Finistère at this time of year, marking the start of the Breton flea market season.

150 exhibitors for an exceptional selection

The number of exhibitors makes this event a reference point for bargain hunters and buyers in the area. Individuals and occasional exhibitors mingle to offer a very diverse selection: clothing (adults and children), furniture, second-hand appliances, plants, books, and various items. The covered parking lot of the shopping center offers the advantage of a large, flat, and accessible area, ideal for setting up numerous stalls and welcoming visitors by car.

Mellac, a commune in Quimperlé les Rias

Mellac is a commune in southern Finistère, part of the Quimperlé les Rias community of communes. Bordering Quimperlé (a few kilometers to the west), it hosts the Kervidanou commercial activity center, which includes the Intermarché hypermarket. This location on a busy commercial route ensures good visibility and optimal accessibility for the event, attracting visitors from Quimperlé, Riec-sur-Bélon, Bannalec, and neighboring communes.

Practical Information

The event takes place from 9 am to 6 pm. Entry is free for visitors. Pitches are rented for about €8 per spot (approximately 12.5 m²). To reserve a spot or get information about the next edition, contact the Kervidanou activity center or local organizers. Visitor parking is available on site.
