The great festive weekend of Nanteuil with flea market, car boot sale, and farmers' market
Every first weekend of June, the small village of Nanteuil, located near Saint-Maixent-l'École in the Haut Val de Sèvre, transforms into a popular celebration venue with its famous 36 Hours. This event, one of the most anticipated on the local festive calendar, brings together hundreds of visitors over two days for a varied program: flea market, car boot sale, farmers' market, fair, musical entertainment, and on-site dining.
The Sunday of the 36 Hours hosts a large flea market and car boot sale open to all, set up at the village hall and municipal stadium. Private individuals and professionals offer everyday objects, ornaments, dishes, clothing, toys, furniture, and curiosities in a relaxed open-air market atmosphere.
The 36 Hours of Nanteuil go beyond the flea market. The program also includes a fair with rides, a food area with local specialties, concerts and musical entertainment, and various children's activities.
