The Thann Rugby Club Flea Market is organized every year by Thann Rugby Club, one of the town's oldest sports clubs. The Place du Bungert, in the heart of Thann, hosts this summer outdoor event, transforming one of the town's central squares into a vast bargain-hunting space. Exhibitors and visitors come together in a relaxed atmosphere typical of Alsatian flea markets.
Thann, medieval subprefecture of Haut-Rhin
Thann is a town of around 8,000 inhabitants in Haut-Rhin, at the entrance to the Thur Valley. Known for its magnificent Collegiate Church of Saint-Thiébaut, a jewel of Alsatian Gothic architecture, and for its exceptional Rangen de Thann grand cru vineyard planted on steep volcanic slopes.

By organizing this flea market every summer, Thann Rugby Club goes beyond the purely sporting sphere to become part of the life of the town. Volunteers welcome exhibitors and visitors, provide food and drinks, and create a festive day that brings all generations together.
Thann Rugby Flea Market — edition 2026
The Thann Rugby Club Flea Market takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Place du Bungert in Thann (68800). Organized by the Rugby Club de Thann, this large annual flea market brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals.
Admission is free for bargain hunters. Open to the public from 6h00 to 17h00. Coffee and croissants available from opening, refreshments and food provided on site by the club's volunteers. Toilets and outdoor parking available.
An unmissable summer event in Thann, the Rugby Club flea market enlivens Place du Bungert every last Sunday of July. Exhibitors set up their stalls from 5h30; bargain hunters can browse the stalls from 6h00 to 17h00 in search of clothes, toys, books, trinkets, antique objects, and all kinds of odds and ends.
For exhibitors, pitches are charged at 15 € per linear meter; a registration form is available from the Rugby Club de Thann. The event benefits the local sports association and is one of the highlights of the flea market season in the Thur valley.
