Summer Street Sale of Valence

The grand summer street sale, a must-attend event for Valence residents

Every first Sunday and first Monday of July, the center of Valence transforms into a huge open-air market for the summer street sale. Organized by Les Marchés de Valence, this event brings together about two hundred professional exhibitors on rue Victor Hugo and the pedestrian streets and boulevards of the city center, creating an atmosphere of summer festivities throughout the city.

Massive clearance in the heart of the city

Retailers, discounters, and street sale professionals offer fashion items, accessories, leather goods, home goods, and gifts at clearance prices. The sidewalks of boulevard Bouffier, Grande Rue, rue du Théâtre, and rue de Vernoux are covered with racks, tables, and stalls overflowing with bargains. Valence residents and visitors from nearby Drôme towns take advantage of this exceptional time to renew their wardrobes or equip their homes at a lower cost.

Two days of commercial festivities

The street sale takes place over two consecutive days, from 8 am to 8 pm, taking advantage of the long summer days. The atmosphere is festive, with tens of thousands of visitors strolling through the shopping streets throughout the two days. Entry is free, and the event is accessible on foot from the Valence TGV station, with numerous parking options around the city center.
