Summer jumble sale organized by Lions Club Lyon Horizon for humanitarian causes, in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon
The Lions Club Lyon Horizon summer jumble sale is an annual event organized in Lyon's 6th arrondissement. The Lions Club, an international service organization, mobilizes its members and volunteers to run this second-hand market where clothing, books, decorative objects, trinkets and curiosities are exchanged at low prices. The proceeds help fund humanitarian and charitable actions both locally and in developing countries, in keeping with the Lions movement's mission.
Lyon's 6th arrondissement is one of the most sought-after and vibrant neighbourhoods in the city. Located on the left bank of the Rhône, it is crossed by the famous avenue Foch and borders the Parc de la Tête d'Or, Lyon's largest urban park. This residential and commercial neighbourhood, known for its Haussmann-style architecture and beautiful facades, is home to an active and cosmopolitan population. Its many shops, restaurants and markets make it a dynamic place to live, ideal for hosting events like this summer jumble sale.
The 6th arrondissement is very well served by TCL public transport: metro line A (Foch-Masséna), trams T1 and T4, and many bus lines. Vélo'v self-service bikes available nearby.
