Street sale of the League against Cancer Palavas-les-Flots

Solidarity shopping at the Salle des fêtes of Palavas

Every year in October, as part of Pink October, the Palavas branch of the National League against Cancer organizes a large solidarity street sale at the Salle des fêtes of Palavas-les-Flots. Volunteers collect donations of toys, tableware, books, textiles, trinkets and various items throughout the year, which they resell at symbolic prices. On Friday, the doors open from 3 PM to 6 PM, then on Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM, offering three days of solidarity shopping for the benefit of the fight against cancer.

The League against Cancer, a local fight

The Palavas-les-Flots branch of the League against Cancer is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who organize several street sales per year - in February, October, and before Christmas. Every euro raised contributes to funding medical research, patient support, and prevention. The October street sale, which coincides with breast cancer awareness month, holds particular symbolic importance.
