Edition 2025 — Spring Flea Market Barbezieux
The 2025 edition of the Spring Flea Market of Barbezieux-Saint-Hilaire was held on Sunday, May 18th, on the Esplanade de Plaisance. Organized by the Association des Fêtes de Plaisance, this day brought together over 300 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, on the vast space of avenue de Plaisance. Visitors enjoyed a huge selection of flea market items, a Citroën vehicle exhibition, a complimentary aperitif, and on-site catering. Stall space was offered at €2.50 per linear meter.

On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the Esplanade de Plaisance in Barbezieux-Saint-Hilaire hosted the traditional Spring Flea Market. Starting at 5:30 am for exhibitors and 8:00 am for visitors, over 300 flea market stalls were set up across this vast area of southern Charente, attracting treasure hunters from all over the department and beyond.
The Association des Fêtes de Plaisance offered a rich program with an exhibition of vintage Citroën vehicles, a complimentary aperitif from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and a catering area serving fries, sausages, merguez, and sandwiches. The festive atmosphere and the variety of goods offered—furniture, tableware, clothing, books, trinkets, and curiosities—confirmed the success of this spring event in the charming setting of the medieval town of Barbezieux.
