Every May, the City of Louviers organizes its Spring Festival, a major popular event that takes over the streets and squares of the city center. This multifaceted event combines a car boot sale for individuals, a street sale for professional merchants and antique dealers, cultural activities, street performances, a plant market, and family activities, for a celebration of Louviers' conviviality.

Car boot sale and street sale in the heart of the city

The Car Boot Sale welcomes individuals wishing to clear out their attics and cellars, at a rate of €3.50 per linear meter for private sellers. The street sale brings together professional merchants and antique dealers at €4.50 per meter, who set up their stalls in the pedestrian streets of the city center. Together, they create a huge open-air popular market that attracts several thousand visitors throughout the day.

A festive program for the whole family

The Spring Festival is not just about treasure hunting: dance performances, itinerant shows, plant and shrub exchanges, children's workshops, and concerts liven up the city center all day long. Restaurants and cafes in the center contribute to the festive atmosphere by spilling onto the terraces.
