Soulom is a small village of 274 inhabitants nestled at about 480 meters altitude in the central Pyrenees. Its geographical location is remarkable: the village sits at the confluence of the Cauterets and Gavarnie rivers, where two of the most famous Pyrenean valleys meet.
Soulom boasts a remarkable heritage, including a 12th-century fortified church with its crenellated wall walk and original bell tower. The village experienced significant industrial development in the 20th century.
Soulom is located on the D921 between Pierrefitte-Nestalas and Argelès-Gazost, at the confluence of the Cauterets and Gavarnie valleys.
