Sommecaise's jumble sale was held on Sunday 8 June 2025 (Whitsun), in the Aillantais village. A fine late-spring day for bargain hunting among private sellers on the bocage plateau between Aillant-sur-Tholon and Joigny.

The 2025 edition of the Sommecaise jumble sale took place on Whit Sunday, 8 June, in this village on the Aillantais plateau. The Whitsun period, conducive to family outings and outdoor events, attracted visitors and sellers in a pleasant late-spring atmosphere. Stalls offering the authentic contents of local attics allowed bargain hunters to browse among furniture, crockery, tools, books and bric-a-brac typical of the Yonne countryside.
