September Car boot sale

The parking lot of the covered market in Bourg-en-Bresse buzzed with the September car boot sale on September 21, 2025. Between 100 and 200 private sellers set up shop along the allée des Glorieuses for this last major bargain hunting event of the season, organized by the association Anim'à Bourg. From 6 am, the earliest bargain hunters could spot the best deals among the stalls filled with various items.

Visitors took advantage of this September day to find seasonal clothing, books, toys, tableware, small furniture, and trinkets at very attractive prices, as sellers wanted to get rid of items accumulated during the summer. The proximity to the city center and the large free parking lot with over a thousand spaces facilitated the arrival of a large crowd throughout the day.

The September car boot sale will return in 2026 to the parking lot of the covered market in Bourg-en-Bresse. Lovers of back-to-school bargains are invited to note this autumn event, ideal for closing the car boot sale season in the prefecture of Ain.
