Villeneuve-Saint-Georges is a city with a strong working-class identity and vibrant community life. Every spring, the Cité Sellier flea market gives this spirit physical form, transforming the housing estate into an open-air market where neighbours browse stalls filled with clothing, books, toys, crockery and all manner of household objects. Organised by Les Brocantes Île-de-France, the event gathers around 150 private sellers and welcomes visitors free of charge from 8 AM to 6 PM. Tables and chairs provided for sellers; refreshments, toilets and parking available on site.
