Sarcelles Flea Market: the Village's great autumn event

Set in the heart of Vieux Village de Sarcelles, the historic quarter that predates the city's famous 1960s social housing estates, the annual Sarcelles flea market is one of the most popular community events in Val-d'Oise (95). Organised directly by the municipality, it transforms rue Pierre Brossolette every third Sunday of September into a long open-air treasure market.

Between 200 and 300 private sellers line the street offering the contents of their attics: retro furniture, books and vinyl records, crockery, vintage clothing, toys of all eras, household appliances, ornaments and decorative objects. Only private individuals are admitted as sellers, guaranteeing authentic finds and a convivial atmosphere – professional dealers are not permitted.

Municipal organisation

Each year, seller registrations open from June at the town hall. Spaces are highly sought after and often fill up before the official deadline closes, reflecting the strong community enthusiasm for this event. Sellers must present ID and pay the municipal stand fee. Setup begins around 6 AM, well before the doors officially open to the public.

Practical information

The market takes place along rue Pierre Brossolette in the Village quarter. Accessible by Transilien line H from Paris Gare du Nord (Sarcelles-Saint-Brice station) or by bus. Parking available in surrounding streets. Free admission for visitors.
