A broad panorama of the collecting world

The fair offers a range of themes typical of multi-collector events: cartophily (old and modern postcards), philately (stamps), numismatics (coins and notes), comics and older bandes dessinées, galette fèves, miniatures and figurines, old toys, vinyl records, militaria (medals, insignia, equipment), phone cards, ephemera, old advertising and sometimes vintage photographs. Exhibitors, often collectors themselves, willingly share their expertise.

A knowledgeable, passionate audience

Unlike public flea markets, a multi-collectors' fair attracts a targeted audience of connoisseurs. Visitors come to complete a set, exchange with specialists and unearth an interesting lot at a reasonable price. Negotiations are more technical, prices firmer, documentation sharper. It is also a chance to meet other enthusiasts in the same field and expand one's network.

Montdidier, capital of southern Somme

Montdidier is a commune of about 6,000 inhabitants, a department sub-prefecture, located 40 km south-east of Amiens. Destroyed 90% during World War I, it was entirely rebuilt in the 1920s-1930s. Its rebuilt centre shows interesting Art Deco heritage. The town is reached via the D935 from Amiens, the D934 from Roye, or by train (Paris-Nord line).
