About Albi Militaria Fair

Every autumn, the Pratgraussals event hall in Albi hosts the Military Antiques, Hunting and Militaria Fair, a major event for history enthusiasts, collectors and antique arms lovers. Around 75 exhibitors spread over more than 350 linear metres of tables showcase period weapons, uniforms, historical souvenirs, cutlery, hunting gear and rare pieces in a friendly, knowledgeable atmosphere.

A leading militaria fair in the Tarn

Held each year in the heart of Albi, the Military Antiques, Hunting and Militaria Fair has become one of the flagship events of south-western France for antique arms collectors. In the modern, spacious setting of the Pratgraussals event hall, the fair brings together exhibitors, bargain hunters, amateur historians and curious visitors around a rich and demanding heritage.

What to find there

On the tables and in the display cases, visitors discover an impressive variety of pieces: European military regulation arms, antique hunting rifles, sabres and swords, bayonets, helmets, uniforms, medals, military equipment, collector cutlery, period photographs, old documents and technical books. Both World Wars, the Empire, the 1870 war and colonial campaigns are particularly well represented, alongside traditional hunting with trophies, horns and accessories.

Expertise and sharing

The fair attracts a loyal audience but remains perfectly accessible to newcomers curious to discover this singular side of heritage. Exhibitors, often long-time collectors, take the time to explain the provenance and historical use of each piece. Period military vehicles and reconstructed encampments sometimes complete the event, offering visitors a true immersion in history.

A fitting Albi venue

The Pratgraussals hall, located on the banks of the Tarn a few minutes from the UNESCO-listed historic centre, offers a vast covered, heated and easily accessible space. Visitors can combine their visit with a tour of the episcopal city, Sainte-Cécile cathedral and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum.
