Annual fair for postcards and all collectibles at the Salle Madeleine Sologne in Vierzon
For nearly three decades, the Cercle Cartophile Eugène Pipet de Massay has organized a fair entirely dedicated to postcards and collectibles every first Sunday of April at the Salle Madeleine Sologne in Vierzon, Rue Miranda de Ebro. This event, which will celebrate its 29th edition in 2026, has established itself as the major meeting point for postcard collectors in the Cher and Centre-Val de Loire regions.
The originality of this fair lies in its dual purpose: a postcard market and a showcase for Vierzon's industrial heritage. Each edition is accompanied by a thematic exhibition retracing the history of this city marked by industry, porcelain, and railways. A limited-edition postcard is specially produced for the occasion, delighting collectors.
Beyond postcard collecting, the fair hosts exhibitors offering coins, stamps, champagne caps, old papers, and all forms of collectibles. The expert dealers present are able to advise visitors, appraise collections, and offer rare items. Coffee is offered to exhibitors, and a refreshment stand with food allows for a pleasant day of treasure hunting.
Vierzon, a sub-prefecture of Cher located at the crossroads of the Paris-Toulouse and Nantes-Lyon routes, offers a strategic location that attracts collectors from all over the Centre-Val de Loire region. The Salle Madeleine Sologne, in the Parc des Expositions district, has ample free parking and easy access from the A71 motorway.
