Les Années Vintage: Vierzon's rock'n'roll and retro meeting point

Every last weekend of September, the Parc des Expositions de Vierzon transforms into a true time capsule for Les Années Vintage. Created by SARL Impact, this two-day event has become, over a decade, the unmissable gathering for retro culture enthusiasts in Centre-Val de Loire, attracting over 10,000 visitors across 3,600 m² of exhibition space.

An exceptional vintage market

Around 80 passionate exhibitors take over the Parc des Expositions to offer a complete universe: vintage fashion from the 50s to the 80s, mid-century designer furniture, retro decorative items, antique toys, vinyl records, advertising posters, and curiosities of yesteryear. Bargain hunters will find unique pieces, from Scandinavian furniture to pin-up dresses, as well as Pyrex tableware and industrial lighting.

Entertainment, fashion shows, and rock concerts

Les Années Vintage is more than just a market. The entertainment program makes this weekend a true popular festival: pin-up fashion shows and makeover sessions, dance demonstrations by the Pom Pom Girls, roller derby matches by the Piranhas de Châteauroux, tattoo and piercing artists, and a spectacular exhibition of American cars, classic European cars, motorcycles, Vespas, and vintage caravanning.

The evenings are marked by rock concerts on Saturday and Sunday, immersing visitors in the rock'n'roll era atmosphere. Food trucks and on-site catering complete the festive offering.

Vierzon, the vintage capital of Berry

Vierzon, an industrial town in the Cher department known for its porcelain and railway heritage, provides an ideal setting for a vintage fair. The Parc des Expositions, located at Place de la Libération, is easily accessible from the A71 and has ample free parking. The rock'n'roll and festive dimension of Les Années Vintage contributes to the cultural influence of this town at the crossroads of Berry and Sologne.
