Saint-Maurice school flea market

Every spring the Saint-Maurice school in Moutiers-les-Mauxfaits holds its annual flea market, run by the parents' association. Held indoors, it has become a firm fixture in this South-Vendée plain commune near the coast between Luçon and Les Sables-d'Olonne.

The 2026 edition is on Friday 8 May, taking advantage of the bank-holiday weekend that draws families and the first seasonal holidaymakers. The Les Forêts sports hall provides a sheltered venue, easy parking and good access for sellers and buyers alike.

A commune of close to 2,300 inhabitants in south Vendée, 20 minutes from the beaches of La Tranche-sur-Mer, Jard-sur-Mer and Longeville-sur-Mer.
