The monthly rendezvous for bargain hunters on the peninsula
Organised by the Town of Saint-Mandrier, the village flea market has become an essential monthly ritual for residents of the peninsula and the greater Toulon area. Every first Sunday, the main square in front of the town hall fills with dozens of private sellers. The April 2026 edition, on Sunday 26 April, marks the spring revival after the Mediterranean winter.
True to its popular format, the event is reserved for private sellers. Stalls brim with small furniture, Provençal tableware, childhood toys, books, clothes, trinkets, vinyl records and old postcards, along with maritime memorabilia typical of this Navy-linked territory: ship models, spyglasses and officers' caps.
These Sunday mornings have a unique feel. From dawn, sellers set up under the gentle Var sunshine while early shoppers stroll the aisles, coffee in hand. Families, retirees, collectors from Toulon and La Seyne, and passing tourists all mingle in a village perched between the roadstead and the open sea.
Saint-Mandrier is linked to Toulon by coastal road and maritime shuttles from Toulon harbour. Parking available around the village.
Sunday from 7 AM to early afternoon; in July and August, night editions from 5 PM to 11 PM.
Private individuals only, registration through the town hall.
