Six days of seaside chine

Saint-Jean-de-Monts, a major Vendée resort, hosts an exceptional six-day flea-brocante from Tuesday 21 to Sunday 26 April 2026. The long format is unusual and matches Zone B spring holidays (Nantes Academy) — drawing the first spring visitors.

Peak spring-tourism dates: second homes reopen, campsites fill up. A windfall for organisers and chineurs.

Saint-Jean-de-Monts, Monts-coast capital

Vendée commune of around 8,500 year-round (100,000+ in summer). 'Capital' of the Monts coast between Notre-Dame-de-Monts and Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez. Seafront esplanade, long promenade, marina, hundreds of shops, upmarket hotels and campsites.
