The town centre's second-hand fashion meet-up
Long focused on classic flea markets, Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer has embraced the vide-dressing trend — fashion-focused sales where everyone offloads well-kept wardrobe pieces. Held at 114 rue Jean Moulin in the heart of town, this spring gathering unites private sellers and second-hand fashion fans in an intimate format that prizes quality over quantity.
Women's, men's and children's clothing, summer dresses, vintage jackets, barely worn shoes, handbags, costume jewellery, beach accessories and leather goods make up most of the stalls. Prices are gentle, sellers attentive, and shoppers range from early-season holidaymakers to local fashion enthusiasts.
In a department packed with second homes, vide-dressings have boomed: you'll find rarely worn pieces, sometimes designer labels, always open to negotiation. A perfect complement to the larger Rambla flea market.
Unlike general flea markets, the dressing format encourages fashion talk — trying on, advising, spotting pieces no longer on shop shelves. Many attendees swap tips on upcycling and local finds.
Scheduled in April, during the spring school break, the event draws a broad audience. After shopping, a stroll down to Les Lecques or a coffee at the harbour round off the morning.
