Romainville's spring neighbourhood garage sale
Every spring, the Bal'L association organises a lively garage sale in the Horloge and Bas-Pays neighbourhoods of Romainville. Locals sell clothes, toys, books and bric-a-brac from 7am, with food stalls and entertainment on site.
The Bal'L Culture et Loisirs association has been bringing together residents of the Horloge and Bas-Pays neighbourhoods every spring for a convivial garage sale on the Place André Léonet. The event raises funds for local school end-of-year celebrations and cultural activities.
Tables fill up early with clothes, toys, vinyl records, books, crockery and all sorts of second-hand treasures brought by private sellers from across Romainville. Food stands keep visitors and sellers fed throughout the day, making it easy to spend the whole morning browsing. The pitch fee is €5 per linear metre; registration opens each year around 1 March at the Pavillon de l'Horloge.
