The back-to-school car boot sale in the Saint-Paul suburb of the medieval town of Parthenay
The Mieux Vivre Saint Paul Car Boot Sale is a back-to-school event organised each September in the Saint-Paul suburb of Parthenay, a medieval town in Deux-Sèvres. This second annual edition (the first being in June) brings private exhibitors together on the Jules Ferry primary school car park, Rue du Faubourg Saint-Paul. A family-friendly neighbourhood car boot sale at the foot of the ramparts of this town of art and history.
Every September, the Mieux Vivre à Saint Paul association organises the second annual edition of its car boot sale in Parthenay's Saint-Paul suburb. After the June edition, this back-to-school gathering offers another opportunity to browse before autumn.
The faubourg Saint-Paul is one of Parthenay's historic neighbourhoods, situated outside the medieval ramparts of this remarkable fortified town. The Jules Ferry primary school car park provides the venue.
Parthenay is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in western France. Its ramparts, UNESCO-listed Porte Saint-Jacques, half-timbered houses and castle overlook the Thouet valley.
