The major back-to-school flea market in Rambouillet

Every year in September, the Town of Rambouillet organises its large back-to-school flea market, one of the biggest gatherings of bargain hunters in the southern Yvelines. With around 300 private exhibitors, this event attracts a large audience. The 2026 edition is planned for Sunday 13 September.

The flea market is reserved for private individuals, guaranteeing authenticity and accessible prices. Residents come to present treasures from their attics, cellars and cupboards.

Rambouillet, royal and forest city

Rambouillet is famous for its castle, summer residence of the French Presidents, and for its huge state forest. The event is part of an exceptional heritage setting.
