The summer flea market in Draguignan's historic district
Every summer, Draguignan's Arts District transforms into a vast open-air flea market. Organised by the DAMIS association, which brings together the craftspeople and shopkeepers of the historic district, the event takes over the Rue de Trans and Place aux Herbes for a day of bargain hunting.
Born from the DAMIS association's initiative, this summer flea market has become one of the Dracénois area's key cultural and commercial events. It is traditionally held on a Saturday in late June in Rue de Trans and on Place aux Herbes, the backbone of the historic district.
Browsing in Draguignan beneath the Provençal facades of Rue de Trans, in the shade of the plane trees of Place aux Herbes, is no ordinary experience. The district, famed for its artists' workshops, galleries and independent shops, provides the perfect backdrop.
The 2026 edition of the Arts District flea market is confirmed by DAMIS for a Saturday in late June. Exact date to be confirmed with the association. Registration required, free stand for private sellers within a 3 m limit.
Rue de Trans and Place aux Herbes, heart of the Arts District. Park at Clemenceau, Marché or Gare car parks.
Traditionally 8:30am-4pm.
Mixed private sellers and district craftspeople. Registration required via DAMIS. Free stand, limited to 3 metres.
