A flea market for the benefit of Saint-Pierre students

Each spring, the APEL (Association des Parents d'Élèves de l'Enseignement Libre) of the Saint-Pierre d'Apprieu school organizes a flea market to fund educational projects, school trips, and educational activities for the children. This event brings together the school's families and the inhabitants of the Pays Voironnais for a day of solidarity thrifting.

A flea market in a rural setting

The flea market is held on the grounds of the Saint-Pierre school, at 95 route du Rivier in Apprieu. The exhibitors, mainly individuals, offer a varied range of second-hand items: toys, children's and adult clothing, books, board games, tableware, small furniture, and trinkets. The rural setting of Apprieu, a village located between Voiron and Rives at the foot of the Voironnais hills, adds a bucolic charm to this day.

Friendliness and volunteering

APEL volunteers ensure the organization, the welcome of exhibitors, and catering. The refreshment stand and snack bar offer snacks and drinks throughout the day. Registration is done online to facilitate organization. The atmosphere is family-friendly, warm, and relaxed, reflecting the spirit of this village in the Voironnais.
