Les Puces des Halles, the monthly meeting for professional dealers

Every last Sunday of the month, from January to October, the Place Denfert-Rochereau in Montbéliard hosts the Puces des Halles, a flea market reserved for professional dealers and antique dealers. From 6 am, exhibitors set up under the market hall and surrounding areas to offer their selections to early morning bargain hunters until 12:30 pm.

A professional market in the heart of the city

Unlike car boot sales open to individuals, the Puces des Halles brings together professionals in the flea market and antique trade: specialized merchants, resellers, licensed dealers. This selection guarantees quality offerings and a certain regularity in the goods presented, even if the nature of the items varies depending on what is brought. You can find everything from country furniture to fine china, collector's items, antique tools, books, or various curiosities.

Place Denfert-Rochereau, Montbéliard's commercial heart

The Place Denfert-Rochereau is one of Montbéliard's central squares, a stone's throw from the covered market hall and the weekly food market. This central location facilitates visitor numbers and allows you to combine a visit to the flea market with shopping at the market or a stroll through the historic center. Montbéliard, with its colorful Wurtemberg-inspired facades and its castle overlooking the Allan plain, offers a remarkable setting for this monthly event.

How it works

The market is only open to professional exhibitors. The pitch fee is set at €1.10 per linear meter. The Puces des Halles do not take place in November and December, making way for Christmas markets and end-of-year events. Entry is free for visitors.
