Fabric, haberdashery and creative hobbies sale in Saint-Sorlin-en-Valloire
Saint-Sorlin-en-Valloire hosts its Puces des Couturières, an annual event dedicated to sewing, haberdashery, and creative hobbies enthusiasts. In this village in northern Drôme, the organizing association brings together seamstresses, embroiderers, and creators for a morning of exchanges, purchases, and sharing around the thread arts.
The Puces des Couturières operate on the principle of a specialized sale: exhibitors exclusively offer sewing and creative hobby materials. You can find fabrics by the meter (cotton, linen, wool, silk, jersey), spools of thread in all colors, antique and contemporary buttons, ribbons and trims, zippers, Burda or Vogue patterns, sewing books, second-hand sewing machines, and even embroidery hoops. In the spirit of a circular economy, these sales give a second life to unused supplies.
Saint-Sorlin-en-Valloire is a commune in northern Drôme, nestled in the Valloire, a fertile agricultural plain stretching between the Rhône and the hills of the Drôme des Collines. The village, centered around its Romanesque church, perpetuates artisanal and agricultural traditions that align well with the spirit of these sewing sales. The organizing association, rooted in local community life, contributes to the cultural animation of the village and its surroundings.
The Puces des Couturières will be held in Saint-Sorlin-en-Valloire on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Free entry for visitors. Information from the organizing association.
