In 2025, the Salon de Dé association organized another edition of the "Autour du Fil" day at the Salle des Fêtes in Mercuès (46090). Approximately 35 exhibitors—individuals selling off their supplies, creators offering their handmade items, and small specialized businesses—animated this unique event in the Lot department.
Sewing, knitting, and creative hobby enthusiasts traveled from Cahors and the surrounding areas to take advantage of this rare specialized offering in the region. Fabrics of all textures and colors, haberdashery, wool and yarn, as well as finished creations and advice among enthusiasts formed the heart of this wonderful day. The presence of the sharpener, as every year, provided a much-appreciated service to seamstresses keen on maintaining their equipment.
