Les Puces de Blossac are one of the oldest regular brocante rendezvous in the Vienne department. Held each first Sunday of the month on the tree-lined Boulevard Blossac mall, in the heart of Châtellerault (sub-prefecture, c. 32,000 inhabitants), they belong to the French tradition of regular Sunday-morning urban brocantes.

A mall in the city heart

Boulevard Blossac is a fine tree-lined promenade between town hall and post office, in the historic centre. From 6 am, 50 to 100 sellers set up on this prestigious avenue. Shaded by big trees — particularly pleasant May to September.

A real private/professional mix

Private sellers offer classic bric-à-brac; pros bring more curated pieces: furniture, lighting, paintings, silverware, clocks, old books. Average quality above a standard flea market.

Châtellerault, Vienne's sub-prefecture

Second town of the department, former industrial city with fine historic centre on the Vienne river. Henri IV bridge, the Manu (former arms factory turned cultural centre), Hôtel Sully, quays.

Châtellerault SNCF station (TGV direct Paris-Poitiers), A10 exit 26. Boulevard Blossac 10 min walk from station. City centre parking.
