The traditional Pentecost flea market organised by the City of Achères
Organised every year by the City of Achères during the Pentecost weekend, this flea market is one of the great spring festivities of the Seine loop. It gathers many residents around a day of bargain hunting, exchanges and leisurely strolling. The event is open to individuals wishing to sell items they no longer need.
Like any flea market reserved for individuals, the Pentecost event in Achères offers a huge variety of items: adult and children's clothing, baby gear, toys, books, crockery, small appliances, decorative objects, records, trinkets, tools and small furniture. Each stall tells a story and visitors enjoy rummaging for a good deal or an unusual find.
The City of Achères handles exhibitor registration through the Family Centre and the Associations House. For the 2026 edition, registrations are open from 2 to 27 March, allowing Achères residents to book their pitch in advance.
Located in the Seine loop between Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Poissy, Achères is a Yvelines town with a strong identity. Its railway heritage, proximity to the Saint-Germain-en-Laye forest and vibrant community life make it a welcoming place.
The flea market is a family event par excellence. Parents come to browse with their children, retirees meet their neighbours, and visitors enjoy the atmosphere as much as the bargains.
