Patronal Festival of Chavaniac-Lafayette — August 2025

Chavaniac-Lafayette hosted its Saint-Roch patronal festival in August 2025 in a festive and warm atmosphere. The car boot sale occupied the village center from the morning, with exhibitors offering their items to visitors from all over Haute-Loire.

The day was enlivened by a barbecue-fries generously served by the festival committee volunteers, while the pétanque competition brought together many teams in a friendly competition. Children and adults enjoyed these activities under the August sun.

In the evening, the popular dance brought together residents and visitors in a festive atmosphere that lasted late into the night. The fireworks, set off against the backdrop of Lafayette castle, provided a spectacular finale to this day that blends rural authenticity and exceptional historical heritage. The village of the Marquis de Lafayette once again showed its ability to party with elegance and conviviality.
